LEARN TO READ HEBREW – BEGINNERS COURSE
Informal course open to the public starts March 8
Ron Cohen, of Healing for the Nations & the Wilmington ALIYAH Project, will be leading an 8-week
course for the public on Beginner's Hebrew. He says, “People with absolutely no prior knowledge of
Hebrew can take this course and learn to read the Hebrew alphabet and how to pronounce Hebrew
words in the Bible. Hebrew is a fascinating language, full of meaning and history.” The course will also
cover some basic conversational skills and easy-to-learn Hebrew songs. All ages are welcome.
Ron is a frequent visitor to Israel; a guest-speaker about Israel & will be leading tour groups
there. He is a devoted student of the Hebrew language and has studied Hebrew through Hebrew
University in Jerusalem and also through the Israeli Ulpan program.
